30 Minute Trips
Munich is a well renowned city and is very easy to navigate. They offer a wide variety of public transportation at a reasonable price. If traveling in a group of 5 or more, we suggest the subway system which will cost you around 30 euro for 3 days. If you happen to be traveling to Germany in 2010 and in the Munich area around October, stop in and celebrate the 200th aniversary of Oktoberfest. This city is more geared towards the drinking crowd, and with many beer gardens around the city its easy to see that. If your in Munich to see the sights, there are plenty to be seen. Start with some of the castles such as Schloss Nymphenburg and Residenz. Visit the center of the city where you can find the old and new town hall. The inner city is protected by three gates that remain from the demolished fortifications. The Frauenkirche is the most famous building in the city centre and serves as cathedral for the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising. The nearby Michaelskirche is the largest renaissance church north of the Alps, while the Theatinerkirche is a basilica in Italianate high baroque which had a major influence on Southern German baroque architecture. Head to the Northern edge of Munich to see some of the amazing high rises including Olympia park and the BMW headquarters. Munich has much to be explored within its city and its outer boroughs. (suggested 3 days)

1.5+ Hour Trips
One of the most popular sights in Germany lies just outside an hour and a half. Travel to a small village called Hohenschwangau, here you will find that the village is nestled in between two large castles. Hohenschwangau Castle, or castle of the high swan country, and Neuschwanstein Castle , or New swan palace. Located right on the boarder of Austria. Take the two hour trip on the A8 auto bahn to Stuttgart, here in the inner city lies the crossing point of the cities shopping areas. They claim to have the longest walking street for shopping in all of Germany. Also located in the inner city is Stuttgart's two central castles and major museums and residential areas to the south west.
