1 Hour Trips
Rouen is located an hour and a half northwest of Paris. Rouen is probably best known for its Cathedral de Notre Dame and is 'Butter Tower'. Like much of France Rouen is littered with museums and gardens. Head north to Clermont and visit the old Dungeons. Go further north to Beauvais and visit the Beauvais Cathedral. This Church looks more like a castle than anything.

1.5+ Trips
With so much to see in just Paris alone and then you bring in versailles its unimaginable that you would need to go any further than an hour outside of Paris, but for those of you looking to explore France here are some places a little further out. To start head North to La Havre, just about 2 hours away. Here you find yourself right on the coast of the english Channel. This city, besides offering a gogeous beach scene, it also offers 7 churches a cathedral and a Chapel. Be sure to visit the Volcan and the shipowner home while there as well.

30 minute Trips
If you are traveling to France, and you don't visit Paris, then odds are you missed more than you actually saw. This city has so much to offer whether it be the fine dining, the shops, the museums, the monuments, the churches. Any reason that you can think of to justify traveling, this city has it. Paris is enriched with history and it is prevalent all across the city. Here is a list of sites to see in Paris:
  • Eiffel Tower
  • Arc de Triumphe
  • Notre Dame
  • The Louvre
  • Place d'Etoile
  • La Grande Arche
  • The Pantheon Church

Once you get done with these sites be sure to visit some of the many gardens that lie throughout the city. After Paris you can visit Versailles which is located less than a half hour west of paris. The Versailles castle is a good place to start, a hunting lodge for Louis XIII and the Sun King, and they liked it so much they renovated it to a large castle. The gardens that come along with this castle are also excellent for Picture taking. Traveling in Paris can be difficult, so we suggest the Tram, its very easy to navigate and can get you from place to place far more efficiently than a car. (Suggested 5 Days)

Then head east of Paris towards Reims here you'll find the Palace of Tau. The archiepiscopal palace, built between 1498 and 1509, and in part rebuilt in 1675, served as the residence of the kings of France on the occasion of their coronations. Saint Remi Basilica, an easy one-mile walk from the Cathedral of Notre Dame of Reims, is where 6 royal members currently are buried.
