30 Minute Trips
Bilbao is rather small in comparison to the other cities that this site covers, but it contains some of the most magnificent sites to be seen in all of europe. The most notable of them all is the Guggenheim museum, the building itself is one of a kind and amazes the eyes, while the material that it possess inside is just as astounding. The Saint Anton church and bridge, the symbol of the city, is also shown in the coat of arms. 15 minutes north is Portugalete, small town that is uniquely designed to show how this town is a port city. You can also head 45 minutes south to a place called Vitoria, here the city is covered in historical buildings including Basilica of San Prudencio, Casa del Cordón, Fournier Museum of Playing Cards, and Church of St. Peter the Apostle and many more. (suggested 3 days)

1.5+ Trips
Head southeast to a place called Logrono there is much to be explored here, things like the Con-Caterak de Santa Maria de la Redonda, Iglesia de San Bartolome, Iglesia de Santiago, Iglesia de Palacio, Museo de La Rioja, Parlamento de La Rioja, which is an old factory of the tabacalera, the national tobacco company. Be sure to visit the Muralla del Revellin, as well as the Fuente de la Fran Via in which royal figures with a connection to either Logroño or La Rioja are represented in bronze. Due to the structure of the fountain its often refered to as the fountain of "wet backs".
